Celtic Sea Salt for Animals

There is a clear difference between common table salt (sodium chloride) and unrefined sea salt; the common table salt has had most of the minerals and trace elements removed.  Like humans, animals need these vital minerals and trace elements to thrive.

Since 1997 we have added a pinch of Gros Sel Marin (unrefined salt) to the food and even water of our pets (formerly a Labrador, now two cats).   We do this because we want to ensure their bodies are being nourished with good food and by naturally-occurring minerals.

To take advantage of postal rates it is more cost effective to send 3 x 1 Kilo than in smaller quantities.  We also offer 12 x 1 Kilo bags for £59.99 (including p & p)

Price: £13.5  / 3 x 1 kilo bags

Further Info
Observe animals in the wild.  Elephant herds risk their lives on annual migrations across desert to salt caves where they can locate vital sodium supplies.  Farmers leave blocks of salt so their herds can lick them to offset any sodium deficiency.  These herds of cattle are given better salt than are made available to humans in supermarkets!  It is the mineral ingredients that are instinctively sought after, because the lack of them brings about a wide range of poor health conditions such as heart problems, organ failure, tissue decay, premature ageing, early death and birth defects.  These symptoms evident in humans as much as animals.

What they DONT tell you is:
 The healing powers of unrefined sea salt equal those of Vitamin C, Vitamin E and many other essential nutrients.
 A low-salt diet for the treatment of high blood pressure is a colossal national disgrace, based on dogma, not evidence.
 A salt-restrictive diet can actually raise your blood pressure and cause accelerated ageing cellular degeneration and biochemical starvation.
 A lack of salt can literally cripple your health and cause liver failure, kidney problems and massive adrenal exhaustion.
 On a salt-free diet, the heart muscle valves can tire, lacerate and cause a fatal heart attack.

Celtic Sea Salt contains all the minerals you and your pets need.
