Every 24 hours your arteries become a little more clogged. If you’re interested in keeping the doctor away, read that again!

In November 2018 Phylipa and I were mooching around a mall at Puerto Princesa, Palawan, in the Philippines waiting for the next cinema showing of Bohemian Rhapsody.

We’d rented a scooter for a few days and I needed a comfortable break from negotiating my way down steep hills to the beaches, swerving to avoid large lizards, visiting out of the way fruit markets, coffee shops, restaurants and rivers to watch the night-time firefly display.

With a 30 minute wait for screen time, we came across a shop that was overflowing with books.

I’m a sucker for bookshops and ‘file’ my books in the most unusual order.

They’re not always vertically stacked on shelves. Some books I keep together because I bought them on the same rainy day in a delightful bookshop while on holiday, others I keep at an antiseptic distance from each other.   And of course there are those books I bought yet haven’t started to read (thankfully not too many).

At this packed-to-the-ceiling second hand bookshop in Puerto Princesa, I found and bought Dr Penny Stanway’s “The Miracle of Bicarbonate of Soda”.

For a £6.99 paperback it cost me under £1.  I see on Amazon UK there’s one going for £0.01 but the delivery charges are pretty steep.

Written on the back of the book are the words: “So you think that bicarbonate of soda is just for baking cakes and deodorising your refrigerator? Think again with this collection of practical advice for health and home.”

(Depending on where you live, Bicarbonate of Soda is also known as Sodium Bicarbonate or Baking Soda)

Skipping through the sections on baking, beauty and personal care I wanted to read more on the many natural remedies catalysed by sodium bicarbonate in the body which I believe to be critical to life.

Here’s a bullet point list:

  • anxiety                                • acid-alkaline balance
  • arthritis                                • asthma
  • bad breath                           • cancer
  • cystitis                                 • depression
  • diabetes                             …and I’ve only reached the letter ‘D’

A few years ago I watched a YouTube video featuring a woman who was telling the story of when she was a young girl in Spain during the 1918 Spanish flu outbreak.

Her’s was the only family in the village to get through the epidemic unscathed. She believes it was because her mother gave the whole family 1/2 tsp of baking soda in water every morning.

Her purpose was to “neutralize their bodies against the virus”.

I do the same and have done every day since the COVID-19 outbreak left China. It’s easy to do and I improve the taste by mixing it with cranberry juice rather than water.  To strengthen it I often add a single drop of iodine.

Half a teaspoon is quite sufficient and is recommended by the US Army to clear the kidneys of uranium toxicity.

A Silver Bullet For Coronavirus?

While most viruses need an acidic environment to replicate, sodium bicarbonate works by pushing oxygen and alkalinity into the cell, immediately driving up the cell voltage.

If a patient suffers from low oxygen conditions (as in severe coronavirus cases) sodium bicarbonate rectifies this issue quickly.

Coronavirus is a man-made bio-weapon with unusual characteristics and the vaccines being hastily produced are mRNA packaged and delivered to your bloodstream and cells by injection.

80% of the people exposed to SARSCOV2 are asymptomatic carriers. 80% of people who get this injected into them experience a clinical adverse event.

You are being injected with a chemical substance to induce illness, not to induce an immuno-transmissive response.

In other words, nothing about this is going to stop you from transmitting anything. This is about getting you sick and having your own cells be the thing that get you sick.

There – I’ve had my rant!

What is not clear is how patients will respond to sodium bicarbonate.  Whether COVID-19 is pH sensitive we are not yet certain but it will assist the body by reducing the incidence of preconditions, which combine with the virus to cause damage.

22 Benefits and Uses for Baking Soda
A powerful, natural and a safe anti-fungal agent

Combine sodium bicarbonate with iodine and it produces a powerful formula to take on the entire spectrum of microbial organisms.  Some believe it to act as a disinfectant against viruses is ‘not generally known’.

Dr. Lynda Frassetto (University of California) says, “Insufficient amount of bicarbonates in our blood reduces our capabilities to manage (neutralize and dump) the acid our body produces.

This is a major cause of ageing.  45 years is the average age when humans display symptoms of diabetes, osteoporosis, hypertension and other degenerative conditions.

We accumulate acidic wastes in our body. These wastes manifest as kidney stones, cholesterol, uric acid, fatty acid and phosphates.

If you read the article on getting a canopy over your bed, it’s worth knowing that as an adjunct, bicarbonate of soda is the ideal medicine for mitigating radiation exposure. It helps clear the kidneys of uranium toxicity; it has been used alongside chemotherapy and is administered during a cardiac arrest.

There’s no hiding the fact that baking soda, the same stuff that can save a person’s life in the emergency room in a heartbeat, is a primary safe and effective fungal treatment.

When you source your sodium bicarbonate make sure aluminium is NOT an ingredient.
