Your Portal to Sonic Bliss

What’s written below has significant value, so approach it with an open mind as it may challenge beliefs you’ve held for some time.

In the same way a piano is tuned, your body can be tuned to achieve a better internal balance.

Considering that all things resonate at their own, distinct frequencies, research has revealed that if a particular part of your body starts to resonate at an incorrect frequency, there’s a likelihood of illness or a condition developing.

Wouldn’t it be logical to rectify the misaligned frequency rather than embark on a series of pharmaceutical drugs or undergo debilitating surgery?

Tuning forks come in an intriguing variety of sizes and the tone they emit is dictated by their length, thickness and material composition.

Generally, the smaller tuning forks produce higher-pitched notes, whereas their larger counterparts generate lower-pitched tones.

After tapping a tuning fork you may hear a faint audible sound but you won’t hear the  multitude of overtones intersecting with frequencies coming from the body that remain beyond the reach of our hearing.

When two BioSonic tuning forks are gently tapped together, they initiate a transformation within your body’s biochemistry, bringing your nervous system, muscle tone and organs into balance.

Thrashing back and forth at tremendous speeds, the “tines” of the fork (the prongs) engage with surrounding air molecules, setting off a sequence that reverberates through the surrounding air.

When these microscopic collisions reach your eardrum, your brain processes them as a soothing hum.

Pure tone sounds such as this.

This transition can unfold within seconds; your body will enter a deep state of relaxation and your mind will be at peace.

The result?  In simple terms, a reduction in stress and considerably less chance of you becoming ill.

This is why I’ve used tuning forks for over 20 years. When I first became aware of the new possibilities I realised I’d discovered something quite extraordinary.

There are 10 tuning forks in the house of different notes and applications.

Held by the stem rather than the prongs, tuning fork frequencies range from 64 Hz to 4096 Hz, the 128 Hz tuning fork being the most commonly used for reducing pain in joints, inflammation, stress, sore muscles as well as for meditation and increased mobility.

My most used tuning fork is the 40Hz for its Gamma Wave stimulation. It benefits neurons, microglia, astrocytes and vasculature. If, like me, you learned very little in school biology, these are:

Neurons  – cells that send messages all over our body

Microglia – immune cells of the brain that prevent damage

Astrocytes – cells in the central nervous system

Vasculature – blood vessels

Personally I avoid Amazon or eBay because they are merely sales sites.  Buying from the source usually allows a more generous return policy (if necessary), upgrade or the chance to ask questions that arise.

Other than for music and instrument tuning, here are some of the key health benefits of using quality tuning forks:

  • Sound Therapy and Healing: In sound therapy to promote relaxation, reduce stress and alleviate physical and emotional pain. The vibrations produced by the tuning fork can have a calming effect on the nervous system and help balance energy in the body.
  • Chakra Balancing: In practices like Reiki and energy healing, tuning forks are used to balance and align the body’s chakras. Each tuning fork is associated with a specific frequency that corresponds to a particular chakra, helping to clear blockages and restore harmony.
  • Medical Diagnostics: In medical settings, tuning forks are used for diagnostic purposes, especially in the assessment of hearing and nerve function. They can be struck to produce a specific frequency that tests a person’s ability to hear different pitches.
  • Meditation and Mindfulness: Incorporating the sound of tuning forks into meditation and mindfulness practices can enhance the experience. The soothing sound and vibrations can help individuals achieve a deeper state of relaxation and focus.
  • Physical Therapy and Massage: Tuning forks can be applied to specific points on the body during massage or physical therapy sessions. The vibrations can stimulate circulation, release tension in muscles, and promote overall relaxation.
  • Aromatherapy: Some practitioners use tuning forks to enhance the effects of aromatherapy by using the vibrations to disperse essential oil molecules into the air more effectively.
  • Stress Reduction: The calming and harmonising effects of tuning forks can help reduce stress and anxiety. By using the vibrations to entrain the body’s rhythms, individuals may experience a greater sense of tranquility.

Apart from brain tuning, relieving tinnitus, helping to manage cancer and stimulating the vagus nerve, some other practical applications include:

  • Polarity therapy
  • Reiki
  • Massage
  • Sports rehabilitation
  • Yoga
  • Hypnosis
  • Psychotherapy

In recent years I’ve preferred the pure tone acoustic properties of the BioSonics Tuning Forks and swear by them over the others I’ve tried (which are ok but not exceptional). I’d recommend you look through their comprehensive website (below) and if necessary ask questions before you commit.
